Matt is a driven and client-focused litigation attorney with a concentration in general personal injury. While in law school, Matt gained invaluable experience serving as a legal intern in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the court of last resort for cases adjudicated within the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia.
Following law school, Matt practiced corporate transactions. In this capacity, he represented a wide array of public and private companies. This experience exposed Matt to the leadership and legal teams of corporations of all sizes. This experience provided Matt with insight on how companies view and consider risk when making decisions, particularly in the legal realm.
Before attending law school, Matt served as an Officer and a pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Through multiple deployments with the Marines, Matt gained experience in situations requiring precise execution while operating in dynamic and uncertain environments. This meaningful experience prepared Matt to bring unique value to the service of his clients. Matt continues to serve as a reservist in the United States Marine Corps and was recently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
